Change of Command at Girvan
After 14 years in charge Squadron Leader Brian Wilson (left) hands over the running of 1371 (Girvan) Squadron to Flight Lieutenant Alex Lobban. In his time running the squadron Brian has seen over 200 young people from Girvan and the surrounding areas pass through the squadron.
Though he is leaving the squadron Brian has been promoted to the rank of Squadron Leader and takes up duties as a Wing Staff Officer with responsibility for four squadrons.
Alex is no stranger to the squadron having first joined as a cadet 35 years ago.
